Joint Degree Programs

Yale Divinity School encourages students to enroll in joint degree programs that lead to the granting of more than one degree. Keep in mind admission to the school must be obtained through the normal admissions process established by each school. In most cases, the period of study required to complete two degrees is less (usually by one year) than would be required to complete those degrees if they were pursued independently.
Aside from the joint degree programs listed below, certification for secondary-school teaching in a variety of subjects is available for a limited number of Divinity students through Yale College's Teacher Preparation Program.

University of Connecticut School of Social Work
The School promotes social and economic justice by providing high quality education through social work interventions in case-work, group work, community organizing, policy practice and administration.
Yeshiva Univerity: Wurzweiler School of Social Work
Wurzweiler emphasizes values and ethics, and working with diverse populations. Graduates include practitioners, educators, researchers, and administrators.
