Needed/Lost and Found:
Lost Course Organizer: My course organizer,
containing all materials for all four of my courses this semester, went missing
on Thursday morning of last week. It
seems I lost track of it during chapel and coffee hour, when I leave my
book-bag unattended, but it is also possible that it went astray on Wednesday
afternoon following my Pastoral Care of Depression seminar. It is made of whitish-clear plastic and has
my name and contact information written on a card in a clear sleeve just under
the flap, which secures with white elastic. It is about two inches thick and
somewhat heavy. It contains lecture notes written on graph paper, course
handouts and some readings printed out from Classes v2, work toward a final
paper for the Pastoral Care of Depression, syllabi, and returned papers with
comments. I would benefit from having my course organizer returned to me,
either directly or indirectly, as soon as possible. If you find it, you could
leave it on the table in the commuter lounge.
I will look for it there, having already looked elsewhere. Thank you, Ellen Wittmann (ellen.wittmann@yale.edu)
Ride to
Lost Cell Phone: I think I lost my cell phone
today at the
Cat Sitter Needed: We have two adorable kittens, Jake and Mexicali Rose,
who need some care and affection while we are away for Thanksgiving break. Ideally, we are looking for someone who is
willing to hang out in our house for a little bit each day to feed them and
give them a little attention. Not only
does this amazing package include time with two cute cats, but we'll also throw
in full use of our house, including our spacious kitchen (appealing to those
living on microwaveable diets), fireplace (for pyromaniacs and/or those with a
general dislike for the cold), washer and dryer (no quarters necessary) and if
you so desire our whirlpool jet tub (perfect for the weary and heavy
laden). And that's not all, we will also
pay you! But wait, there's more! We could even be persuaded to bring back
delicacies only available in the South should that be appealing to anyone who
misses home or just appreciates the deliciousness of Cheer wine. Flexible
dates: Sun 11th - Sat 17th. If interested please let either Rachel
Johnson (rachel.johnson@yale.edu)
or Allison Hager (allison.hager@yale.edu)
know.
Help Needed for Advent
Party: The
YDS Advent party is fast approaching (December 11!) and CLC is looking for
volunteers to help with set-up, clean-up, bar-tending, decorations, and
children's activities. Should you be
interested in helping out on this very fun night, please email caroline.levy@yale.edu or brandon.johnson@yale.edu. Thank you all so much, and have a wonderful
Thanksgiving!!! Peace, Carrie and
Brandon
P.S.
Look for more information on Tree Decorating December 7, with Christmas carols
and Dale hanging the ceremonial first ornament!
For
John Calvin NT
Commentary: One
hundred thousand dollars for the set of 7 books. Perfect condition. Hardback.
You got the cash, I got the stuff.
Ok. $100. not $100,000.
But just think. You'll be saving
about $99,900 on the deal. (micah.luce@yale.edu)
Housing:
Room Available: If there's anyone looking to
rent a room starting either in January (term 2) or earlier... I'm looking for a
roommate! I live in a two-bedroom
townhouse very close to YDS (corner of Prospect and Division in
