Dining Rooms Operating Schedule 2012–2013

Meal Plans are in effect only during the academic session. No Meal Plans are in effect during Recess Periods. Operating schedules for all dining facilities are based on the academic calendar for Yale College or the respective graduate school.

Regular Hours of Operation

Commons Dining Hall
Monday - Friday
Hot Breakfast: 7:45 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
Lunch: 11 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Residential Dining Halls
Monday - Thursday
Continental Breakfast: 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Dinner: 5 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. (All colleges except Calhoun, Ezra Stiles, and Morse)
Calhoun, Ezra Stiles, and Morse are open for dinner M - TH from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Friday
Continental Breakfast: 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Dinner: 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.

Saturday & Sunday
Breakfast: Morse College & Calhoun College 8 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
Brunch: 11 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
Dinner: 5 p.m. - 7 p.m.

All Yale College Dining Halls Aug. 28: Opens for the Fall semester with lunch at 11:30 a.m. Sept. 2:
Stiles, Morse, and Calhoun are open for brunch from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. All other dining halls are closed for brunch due to Fall Fest at Old Campus. Dining halls re-open with dinner.

Sept. 3:
Stiles, Morse, and Calhoun are open for breakfast (8 - 10:30 a.m.), brunch and dinner.
All other colleges are only open for brunch and dinner.

Oct. 24 - 26: Open for brunch and dinner.

Oct 27: Resume to regular service with brunch.

 Nov. 16:
Open for continental breafkast and lunch. Dining halls (except Branford, Saybrook, Pierson, Silliman, Stiles and Morse) close after lunch at 1:30 p.m. for the holiday break.

Branford, Saybrook, Pierson, Silliman, Stiles and Morse dining halls are open for dinner. Branford, Saybrook, Stiles and Morse dining halls close for the holiday break after dinner at 7 p.m.

Nov. 17 - 20: Pierson and Silliman are open for brunch and dinner. All other dining halls are closed.

Nov. 21 - 24:
All dining halls are closed

May 6:
Open for continental breakfast (8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.), lunch (11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.), and dinner (5 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.)

May 7:
Silliman, Stiles and Morse are open for hot breakfast (7:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.), lunch (11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.). Dining halls close for the academic year after lunch at 1:30 p.m.

Pierson, Calhoun and TD are open for continental breakfast (8 a.m. - 11 a.m.), lunch (11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.) and dinner (5 p.m. - 7:30 p.m.). Pierson, Calhoun and TD dining halls close for the academic year after dinner at 7:30 p.m.

All other dining halls are open for continental breakfast (8 a.m. - 11 a.m.), and lunch (11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.). Dining halls close for the academic year after lunch at 1:30 p.m.
