Who we are

A Message from the Executive Director

Welcome back! We hope you find our new web site informative and user–friendly, and that you’ll check back with us here often. Our mission to enhance your overall dining experience is our first priority, every day.

What’s New?

We’ve launched Stir, the new exhibition style Asian cuisine in Commons and recruited the very talented owner of Ivy Noodle to cook for us. It has been a huge success. Jonathan Edwards residents are reaping the benefits of their gorgeous, new, state–of–the–art dining facility. Campus–wide we’re introducing new menu items offering regional and ethnic cooking. And we’re always doing our best to take advantage of the wonderful fresh produce being harvested locally by serving delicious seasonal items at their peak. Please be sure to enjoy some.

We’re continuing a fruitful collaboration with the Yale Sustainable Food Project (YSFP), the Yale College Council (YCC) and all the other student organizations that have been stakeholders in shaping your dining experience. We would like your input, too.

If you would like information about your dining hall, our meal plans, and answers to general dining questions or to better discover all the services we offer, contact us by phone at 203–432–0420.

Throughout the year, updated information on what we’re doing will be coming your way via the dining hall managers and DISH, the new student table top bulletin. Your thoughts and ideas are important so please be in touch.

Our goal is to exceed your dining expectations at every meal. It’s not just our job but a privilege to help make your time with us as rewarding as possible.
