The Next Generation PC Tool
If you currently use Yadministrator successfully,
PCAmigo will give you new and improved features that will make PC
maintainance easier for you and your clients.
PCAmigo gives you several ways to maintain your PC.
- The Local Hardware tool reflects your user
and hardware information.
- The Local Software tool reflects the status
of your software as it relates to the approved versions that have
been tested and certified by ITS Administrative Systems to work
with the Oracle software suite.
- The Online Software tool is a web interface
that allows you to find and install software from a central location.
- Other Utilities:
As needs change, modules will be added to increase the functionality
of PCAmigo. In the past few months two new items have been added
to the menu toolbar.
- Check Workstation Security:
This utility gives a scorecard of the workstation security
based on the recommended security settings Information Security
Office made.
- Check My ADSM Backup:
This utility will list your last successful backup.
How to Access PCAmigo
To launch PCAmigo by itself or with the tutorial,
click on one of the buttons below. Use PCAmigo to upgrade software.
As you are using PCAmigo, feel free to contact Desktop
Techologies with comments and suggestions. Your feedback is
important.
Users that currently have a shortcut to Yadministrator on their
start menu will be given the option to convert to PCAmigo.
