Bookbinding Studio

The Bookbinding Studio is located in the Davenport Underground, next to the Printing Press.

This semester, there will be two "hand bookbinding" classes in the binding studio, located between the press and the shared open basement space between Davenport and Pierson.

E-mail alistair.kwan@yale.edu to register for introductory classes on Fridays.

There will also be another class on either Monday or Wednesday 14:25-16:25, or Sun 15:00-17:00. Email ionut.costica@yale.edu to indicate a preference for one of these times.

Spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-serve bassi, so please go to the class you're interested in taking -- your presence acts as your "signing up." Binding classes will be capped 3 or 4 students, because of space limitations, so definitely arrive on time to the first session.

All of these classes will meet once a week for two hours. They're taught by knowledgeable people who generously volunteer their time, so please try to attend all classes if you do take a session.
