Team Time Trial (April 27th)

The race of truth (but not by yourself). Men's A raced superbly to finish 4th overall. They'll be psyched and stoked for Nationals. Look for trails of fire in Vermont next weekend left courtesy of Yale-clad riders. Women's A placed 2nd, missing out of the top place by less than one second.  They'll make it up at Nationals no problem, too, especially when they throw in Reilly (aka Superwoman with broken rib). Men's B WON the time trial by 12 seconds with the team of Chris McPhee, Bryan, and Cam. Sweet work by everyone racing their hearts out.

Road Race (April 27th)

Highlights from the road race include, well, everyone's performance. In Men's D, the incredibly happy duo of Jean-Paul (26th) and Kenny (27th) rode together and finished together on the demanding course. They'll both be out there again next year. In Men's C, Bryan (21st) and Roy (38th) also braved the tough slopes to mix it up in the C peloton. For the Men's B team of Chris (13th) and Cam (25th), a sweet ride in the heart of Pennsylvania. The Women's A team dismantled the peloton with Amanda WINNING the race, Marissa coming in a top 5th place, and Catherine with a well-earned 16th place finish. These women are gonna be unstoppable at Nationals. Finally, the Men's A team of Ryan (17th), Pete (30th), and Rob (35th) working their way through the highly populated peloton and tilted landscape to great finishes.

Criterium (April 28th)

Men's C broke open the day with Bryan in a 6th place finish. Concluding his first road season, Bryan ranked #2 in Division II for Men's C, #5 overall. Not bad… not bad. Expect to see him in Men's B next year. And then Men's A. In the Men's B criterium, Chris McPhee(15th) scored Yale points and also concluded his first season for the Yale Cycling Team. Expect him in Men's A next year.

Women's A raced well like usual with Marissa (4th), Amanda (9th), and Catherine (16th). Watch these women tear it up in Vermont. In Men's A, Pete led the Yale squad with an excellent 12th place finish, capturing mega points for Yale. Ryan B (22nd) showed his versitility in team time trial, road race, and crit. We expect him to evolve into the second stage of Mr. Bike Monster by next season.

In summary, an absolutely fabulous cycling season for all riders. For A-riders, the season has one more important weekend. For non-A riders, no fear… it's summer time, which means USCF races and more time to bond with the bike under sun. Ride on!
