Previous racing/athletic experience: Played football at Williams College, after graduation did sprint triathlons and completed the Boston marathon. Started riding 5 years ago, actually won first Cat 5 race, then moved to Cat 4 and found out wins were a lot harder to come by. Raced in the 4s for 2 years and moved up to Cat 3 last summer.

Biographical sketch: I have always loved cycling. My hometown is home to the Longsjo Classic, grew up watching guys like Davis Phinney, Lance, Tyler Hamilton race on my streets. After college I bought a bike and went to a local ride, all 230+ pounds of me crammed into spandex. Got some odd looks and was told that the gym was down the street. Have been racing to prove people wrong ever since.
