Biographical sketch: Jonathan inaugurated his racing career early this spring with a spectacular crash involving himself, a teammate, a fence, and about 12 feet of air. Determined not to be discouraged by this omen from the cycling gods, he is back on the roads and racing as fast as his little legs will carry him. After all, having grown up in New Haven, he learned to ride a bicycle just blocks from Yale's campus, so it is only fitting that he is back here where he belongs, cycling again.

Jonathan's interest in bicycling stems from an interest in anything with
wheels that moves fast. As a child, he was obsessed with cars, and the infatuation remains to this very day, despite expanding to two-wheeled vehicles as well. And if anyone doubts that he likes going fast, just ask him about the time the government tried to lock him away for it... Watch for Jonathan in D races this year on his blue Cannondale R800. He's uber-excited to be racing with Yale and hopes to do so for the rest of his time here.
