Biographical sketch: After four years in Connecticut, apparently Claire loved it too much to leave. Bidding farewell (almost) to the red and white of her cardinal origins, she makes a new home among the bulldog lovelies and enjoys exploring with them the better bits of southern and central Connecticut.

New to road biking in 2002, Claire got her start with sprint distance triathlons and took it from there. Her first ECCC season was intensive and enjoyable and she is thrilled at the prospect of encouraging others to love it as such. Highlights included all the warm and sunny races, and a fabulous criterium under a brilliant sunny sky for NCCA national championships last May.

She can be found visiting countless autobody shops during the day and at night and on weekends, a slave to her bicycle. Claire also enjoys swimming, tap dance, and contemplating the daunting prospects of life in the not-so-distant future. For the 2003 road season, Claire will be behind the camera, massage table, and with anyone in need of a helping hand, and rocking the UCSF women's field.
