The Commencement Ball, organized by the Senior Class Council, is an annual event that has long been a tradition of Yale College Graduation weekend. The event aims to bring together all members of the Class of 2008, their families, and friends to share a memorable evening that celebrates both the great times of the past and the promise of more great times in the future. This celebration is the largest social event of the Weekend, and it is the only event that will be able to accommodate all of the Class of 2008 and their loved ones. Please take this opportunity to enjoy a truly memorable night.
The Commencement Ball will be held on Sunday, May 25th, 2008 from 9pm to midnight in the Lanman Center at Payne Whitney Gym. Guests will be able to dance to the music of the long-loved Bales-Gitlin Band, featuring Yale's own Jay Gitlin. Included in the price of the ticket are bountiful refreshments, including wine, beer, non-alcoholic beverages, and a specially catered assortment of delicious hors d'oeuvres. Semi-formal attire is required. State or foreign government photo identification must be presented at event to obtain alcoholic beverages.
The Senior Class would like to thank you for the love and support you have given us, the Class of 2008. Our graduation from Yale in just a few months is the product of your hard work and perseverance in raising us, as well as your continued belief in our potential and talent. We hope that you will join us to commemorate this joyous occasion at this year's Commencement Ball.
