	6:00 pm				Yale Symphony Orchestra Commencement Concert, Battell Chapel, www.yale.edu/yso. Admission is free.
	8:00 pm				Yale Dramatic Association musical, University Theatre, 222 York Street (see also Saturday and Sunday listings). Parents will be mailed ticket information in March, www.dramat.org, 203 432-1210.

	11:00 am to 1:00 pm				Brunch for international student graduates and their families hosted by the International Center for Yale Students and Scholars, 421 Temple Street.
	Noon to 1:00 pm				Carillon concert, Yale Guild of Carillonneurs. Best enjoyed from Old Campus.
	1:00 to 2:00 pm				Low Strung cello concert, Old Campus. Rain or shine; admission is free. Classic rock and pop tuned to the voices of ten cellos.
	2:30 pm				Baccalaureate, Woolsey Hall. This service, which is also repeated twice on Sunday, features an address by President Levin, as well as remarks by the Dean of Yale College. Students and their guests are assigned to one of three services, depending on residential college affiliation.
	2:30 pm				Baccalaureate service for seniors and guests from Berkeley, Calhoun, Davenport, and Ezra Stiles.
	4:00 to 6:00 pm				Reception for seniors and their guests hosted by President and Mrs. Levin, 43 Hillhouse Avenue. Rain location: Commons.
	6:00 pm				Saybrook Orchestra Commencement concert, Battell Chapel. Admission is free.
	8:00 pm				Yale Glee Club Commencement Concert, Sprague Memorial Hall, 470 College Street. Parents will be mailed ticket information in March, 203 432-4136.

					All degree candidates, December as well as May, must fill out a Commencement response card by May 1, 2008. This card is required whether or not one is planning to attend the May 26 Commencement ceremony. The card is available only online, and the deadline for submission is May 1, 2008. 	1:00 pm				Graduate School Convocation, Hall of Graduate Studies (HGS) courtyard tent, 320 York Street. This ceremony, presided over by Dean Jon Butler, features the awarding of student prizes and the graduate faculty mentor awards. It also includes an address by a notable alumnus or alumna. All degree candidates and their guests are encouraged to attend. No tickets are needed, and academic regalia is not required.
	2:00 pm				Dean's reception for degree candidates and guests with music and light refreshments, McDougal Center Common Room, Hall of Graduate Studies.

	8:30 am to 9:15 am				Complimentary continental breakfast buffet for degree candidates, faculty, and guests, HGS courtyard.
	9:30 am				Wearing academic attire, candidates assemble in HGS courtyard for procession to Cross Campus. Guests should proceed directly to Old Campus.
	9:40 am				Candidates assemble on Cross Campus by sign indicating degree.
	10:30 am				University Commencement exercises, Old Campus. Tickets are not required for guests, although all degree candidates must submit attendance response cards by May 1.
	Approximately 12:15 pm, following Old Campus ceremonies				Presentation of diplomas in Woolsey Hall, corner of Prospect and College Streets. Diplomas for the degrees of Doctor of Philosophy, Master of Philosophy, Master of Arts,* Master of Science, and Master of Engineering are awarded by the Dean and faculty representatives from each department or program. All degree candidates must fill out Commencement attendance cards indicating whether or not they will attend the diploma ceremony. The attendance card is available only online and may be accessed here. The deadline for submission of attendance cards is May 1, 2008. Degree candidates who do not respond by this date may not be able to be included in the diploma ceremony, or may not be able to sit with their departments. Degree candidates will sit in the orchestra section by department or degree program and will be called to the stage individually to receive a diploma from the Dean. Guests may find seats on the sides and in the balconies. No tickets are required either for degree candidates or guests. The handicapped-accessible entrance to Woolsey Hall is via Beinecke Plaza. *Students receiving master's degrees from the Yale Macmillan Center for International & Area Studies and the Economic Growth Center receive their diplomas in a ceremony held at Luce Hall, 34 Hillhouse Avenue. Included are master's candidates in African Studies, East Asian Studies, International & Development Economics, International Relations, and Russian & East European Studies. A complimentary luncheon and reception for YCIAS graduates and guests immediately follows in Luce Hall. Professional photographs will be taken of each student receiving a diploma, at both the Woolsey Hall and Luce Hall diploma ceremonies. Commencement Photos, a commercial service, will mail degree candidates information about purchasing their photos. Candidates may also contact Commencement Photos directly to inquire.
	1:30 pm				Dean's reception and light luncheon for Woolsey Hall degree recipients and guests, HGS courtyard tent, Common Room, and Dining Hall. Meat, vegetarian and children's box lunches available. Please indicate on online attendance card if you and your guests expect to attend.

	Noon				Following the Old Campus ceremony, graduates process to Weir Courtyard for the diploma ceremony. Weir Courtyard is entered from High Street. In case of inclement weather, the diploma ceremony will take place in Yale Art Gallery's McNeil lecture hall, which is also entered from High Street.

	Noon				Following the Old Campus ceremony, graduates process to the Graphic Design Atrium, School of Art, Holcombe T. Green Jr. Hall, for the diploma ceremony (rain or shine), led by the faculty marshal from the School of Art, as well as the banner bearer and student marshal. A reception for graduates and their families follows the diploma ceremony in the main hallway of Green Hall. The School of Art is located at 1156 Chapel Street.

	12:30 pm				EPH Commencement Luncheon, Graduate Club, 155 Elm Street, for degree candidates and their guests. Tickets are required and may be obtained by contacting the Office of Student Affairs, 203 785-6260.
	2:30 pm				EPH graduation ceremony, Battell Chapel, located on the corner of Elm and College Streets. The ceremony is open to all, and tickets are not necessary.

	5:00 to 7:00 pm				Reception hosted by Dean Harold Hongju Koh and Mary-Christy Fisher for graduating students, family, and guests, Yale Law School Dining Hall. No tickets are required, and there is no limit on the number of guests. Invitations will be available in the registrar's office in April.

	9:40 am				Law School degree candidates and faculty assemble on Cross Campus near Law School sign.
	10:30 am				University Commencement exercises, Old Campus. No tickets are required.
	Following Old Campus ceremonies, approximately noon				Law School Commencement exercises, Law School Courtyard. No tickets are required, and there is no limit on the number of guests. Invitations will be available in the registrar's office in April. In recent years the Law School ceremony has ended by 2:30 pm. In case of rain, the Law School ceremony will take place in Payne Whitney Gymnasium's Lanman Center.
	Following Law School ceremonies, approximately 2:30 pm				Champagne reception, Law School Courtyard. No tickets are required.
	Following champagne reception				Optional buffet luncheon, Law School Dining Hall. Tickets may be purchased at the door for $19 per person. Students may use their unused Dining Hall meal plan balances or cash to pay for the buffet.

	Approximately 12:45 pm, following Old Campus ceremonies				The diploma ceremony will be held in Caulkins Courtyard, 135 Prospect Street. No tickets are required. Professional photographs will be taken of each student receiving a diploma. Commencement Photos, a commercial service, will send degree candidates information about purchasing their photos. Candidates may also contact Commencement Photos directly to inquire. An optional box lunch will be available following the ceremony. Reservations will be accepted beginning in late April; guests should make arrangements through their graduating friend or relative. In case of severe weather, the diploma ceremony will be moved to Woolsey Hall (corner of Grove & College Streets) and will begin at approximately 3.00 pm.

	12:30 pm				The School of Medicine diploma ceremony will be held outdoors in the courtyard of Edward S. Harkness Hall under a large tent. In the event of extremely severe weather, the diploma ceremony will move to Mary S. Harkness Auditorium, but with very limited access. Harkness Hall is located at 367 Cedar Street, and Mary S. Harkness Auditorium is located in the Sterling Hall of Medicine, 333 Cedar Street.
	1:45 pm				Following the ceremony, at approximately 1:45 pm, there will be a reception in Edward S. Harkness Hall for the graduates, their family and friends. Tickets are required for both the diploma ceremony and reception, with each degree candidate receiving a total of eight free tickets (one for the candidate plus seven for guests). Ticket distribution, beginning in late April, will be coordinated between students and the School of Medicine's Office of Student Affairs. Guests should not contact the School of Medicine directly for tickets; rather, they should make arrangements through their graduating friend or relative. 	5:00 to 7:00 pm				Dean's reception for graduates and families hosted by Dean Margaret Grey in the atrium (cafeteria area) of 100 Church Street South. This is a wonderful opportunity for families of graduates to meet faculty and staff before Commencement. The reception will include hors d'oeuvres, beer, wine, and soft drinks.

	11:30 am to 2:00 pm				Annual induction of new members, Delta Mu chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International. Ceremony and brunch, Owenego Inn, Branford, CT. For information, contact Fredericka Grant, 203 737-2652.

	12:30 pm				The Yale School of Nursing diploma ceremony will be held at the Shubert Theater, 247 College Street. A reception for graduates, their families, and guests will be held at the Omni New Haven Hotel, 155 Temple Street, immediately following the diploma ceremony. Tickets are required for both the diploma ceremony and reception.
