A limited number of dormitory rooms will be available for families and guests of graduates. Reservations are handled by Yale Custodial Services, which will send details to parents of seniors in November. Guests of Graduate and professional school degree candidates may call 203 432-0142 for information.

Accommodations
You and other guests will likely share a suite with an unfurnished living room, in-suite bathroom and one or more bedrooms. Bedrooms are furnished with one or two single beds, dressers, desks, and chairs. Each reserved bed will be made up with linens, a blanket and a pillow; towels and soap are also provided. In-suite bathrooms are cleaned daily, but maid service is not available.

Fees
There is a flat rate of $135 per person for one, two, or three nights.

Dates
Housing is available only on the following days: Saturday, May 24; Sunday, May 25; and Monday, May 26.

Check-in and check-out
The housing office is located on Old Campus in room MB12 of McClellan Hall. McClellan is a brick building with green shutters, located in the southwestern quadrant of Old Campus near Chapel and High Streets. Guests may check in any time after 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 24. The housing office will remain staffed 24 hours a day until noon on Tuesday, May 27, when all rooms must be vacated.

Keys
There is a $10.00 refundable deposit for each suite key and a $25.00 refundable deposit for an electronic access device required to enter the dormitory building. Deposits for keys and access devices must be paid by check or money order at the time of check-in; no cash or credit cards will be accepted. Please do not mail key deposits with your reservation application.

Special needs
Let us know as soon as possible of any medical condition or special needs you or your guests may have. We will attempt to accommodate such needs in our room assignments.

Reservations
Application forms will be mailed to parents of seniors in November; duplicates may be obtained by calling 203 432-0142 or sending an email to commencementhousing@yale.edu. Completed forms with check or money order payable to Yale University should be sent to: Commencement Housing Office, Yale University, P.O. Box 207135, New Haven, CT 06520-7135.

Reservations are on a first-come basis.

Deadline/Refunds
Reservations with application form and fee will be accepted no later than Monday, April 7. A $20.00 charge will be applied to refunds for cancellations made prior to May 1; no refunds will be given after that date. Should we be unable to accommodate your request for rooms, the entire fee will be refunded. Confirmation letters will be mailed in April.
