Yale University parking lots are closed to vehicles without a Yale parking permit between 7AM and 4PM. For your convenience we have reserved a parking space in Parking Lot 37 for the exclusive use of our research participants. You will not need a parking permit to park in this reserved space during your visit. We also have printble directions.How to get to Parking Lot 37 on Trumbull Street:
From I-95
1. Get off I-95 at exit 48, "I-91 North to Hartford."
2.Follow the instructions for "From I-91."
From I-91
1. Get of I-91 at Exit 3, "Trumbull Street."
2. At the end of the ramp, go straight through the light on to Trumbull St.
3. Continue past light on Whitney Ave. and Temple St.
4. Just past Temple St, take an immediate right into Parking Lot 37, and park in the reserved space with the blue sign, shown below. Click here for directions from

From the New Haven Green: PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO CONSTRUCTION THESE DIRECTIONS HAVE CHANGED
1. Go East on Elm St. Take a right at Whitney.
2. Take a left onto Trumbull St.
3. Drive past the light at Temple St. (the other side of the triangle where you turn), then take an immediate right into Parking Lot 37.

From Whalley or Dixwell Avenue:PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO CONSTRUCTION THESE DIRECTIONS HAVE CHANGED
1. Drive down Whalley Ave.or Dixwell Ave. until it becomes Broadway.
2. Pass the light at York St. and continue past three more lights to Whitney Ave. You will pass the New Haven Green on your right. Turn left on Whitney Ave.
3. Continue on Whitney to Trumbull St. Take a left on Trumbull.
4. Go past the light at Temple St (the other side of the triangle where you turn), and take an immediate right into Lot 37.

From Whitney Avenue or Hamden:
1. Drive south on Whitney Ave. towards New Haven.
2. Turn right on Trumbull St.

How to Get to the Yale Cognition and Development Lab from Parking Lot 37:
1. From Lot 37, take a right and walk down to the traffic light at the corner of Trumbull St. and Hillhouse Ave.
2. Cross Trumbull St. at the crosswalk and then cross the street to the other side of Hillhouse Ave.
3. Continue straight down Hillhouse Ave. You will walk downhill, past the University Health Services (at 17 Hillhouse) and toward the towering steeple of St. Mary's Church.
4. Before you reach the corner, take a right down the path next to 2 Hillhouse Ave. (a red and brown brick building).
5. Walk down the pathway into a courtyard.
7. Take the path across the courtyard and go through the wooden doors.
8. If you come after hours and the doors are locked, then you can use the intercom to tell us you're here. Press the black "CALL" button, wait for the dial tone and then call "2-6451" (which is the lab phone number). Someone will answer and then come to let you in.
ONCE IN SSS:
There are many developmental psychology labs in SSS. To reduce confusion, each lab has an animal. Our lab is the "Panda lab," and you can follow the signs to get there. To find us, go to the end of the hall to the elevator. Take the elevator up to the second floor. Take a right and go to the end of the hallway. Our labs are behind the glass door marked "205-206" directly in front of you, with a panda sign on the outside.
