Between the hours of
7 AM and 4 PM, all Yale University parking lots are closed to
vehicles without a Yale parking permit. For your convenience we have
reserved a parking space in Parking Lot 37 for the exclusive use of
our research participants. You will not need a parking permit to park
in this reserved space during your visit. Please click

How to Get to Parking Lot 37 on Trumbull Street:
From I-95:
1. Get off I-95 at Exit 48 "I-91 North to Hartford."
2. Follow the instructions for "From I-91."
From I-91:
1. Get off I-91 at Exit 3 Trumbull Street.
2. At the end of the ramp, go straight through the light onto Trumbull St.
3. Continue past light on Whitney Ave. and Temple St.
4. Just past Temple St., take an immediate
right into Parking Lot 37, and park in the reserved space with the
blue sign:

From the New Haven Green:
1. Go North on College Avenue. At Grove St. College becomes Prospect Street.
2. Continue North on Prospect St. Grove Street Cemetery is on your Left. SSS is the tall, modern Gothic building with 10-story tower on your right.
3. At the first light, take a right onto Trumbull St.
4. Go past the traffic light at Hillhouse Ave. and take a left about halfway down the block into Parking Lot 37. There is a reserved space with a blue sign that says "Reserved for Yale Studies in Cognitive Science and Development."

From Whalley or Dixwell Avenue:
1. Drive down Whalley Ave.or Dixwell Ave. until it becomes Broadway.
2. Pass the light at York St. and continue past another light to College St. You'll see the New Haven Green coming up across the street on the right. Turn left on College St.
3. Continue straight on College St. You will pass a stoplight at Grove St. and the Grove Street Cemetery on your left. SSS is the tall, modern Gothic building with 10-story tower on your right.
3. At the next light, take a right onto Trumbull St.
4. Go past the traffic light at Hillhouse Ave. and take an immediate left into Parking Lot 37. There is a reserved space with a blue sign that says "Reserved for Cognition and Development Laboratory."

From Whitney Avenue or Hamden:
1. Drive south on Whitney Ave. towards New Haven.
2. Turn right on Trumbull St.
3. Take an immediate right into Parking Lot 37. There is a reserved space with a blue sign that says "Reserved for Cognition and Development Laboratory."

How to Get to Yale Cognition and Development Lab in SSS from Parking Lot 37:
1. From Lot 37, take a right and walk down to the traffic light at the corner of Trumbull St. and Hillhouse Ave.
2. Cross Trumbull St. at the crosswalk and then cross the street to the other side of Hillhouse Ave.

3. Continue straight down Hillhouse Ave. You will walk downhill, past the University Health Services (at 17 Hillhouse) and toward the towering steeple of St. Mary's Church. |

4. Before you reach the corner and the street ends, take a right down the pathway directly after 2 Hillhouse Ave. (i.e. a red brick building) |
6. SSS is the
Gothic building with a 10-story tower.
7. Take the path across the courtyard and go through the wooden doors.
8. If you come after hours and the doors are locked, then you can use the intercom to tell us you're here. Press the black "CALL" button, wait for the dial tone and then call "2-6451" (which is the lab phone number). Someone will answer and then come to let you in.
9. Once you are inside the building, continue walking straight and there will be an elevator to your right. Take this elevator to the 2nd floor.
10. When you get off the elevator, take a right and continue to the end of the hallway. You will see a glass partition and a sign for Rooms 205-207.
11. Come through the glass door and the Cognition and Development Lab will be on the left hand side. Welcome!
