Lab Manager Position

Responsibilities: 
The Lab Manager (i.e., RA) conducts research-related tasks for projects investigating cognition and development in preschoolers, school age children, and adults. Additionally, the RA sets up and maintains liaisons with greater New Haven area schools and preschools, interviews children in those settings according to research protocols, recruits children and their parents, ensures they arrive to the research center at Yale, and interviews them. Furthermore, the RA aids in the design of stimuli, the scoring and entering of research data on computer, and in the analysis of collected data.

Experience and Training: 
Competitive applicants will have a bachelor's degree in either a natural or social science area. Prior experience in experimental psychology research, especially with children, is an asset. Course experience in cognitive psychology or cognitive science is preferred. A genuine interest in the lab's research questions is highly desired.
