Tasks allow departments to separate project activity into subcategories based on the department's business needs.
Every project must have at least one task. There is no limit to the number of tasks that may be associated with a project. It is recommended that a new project should have as small a number of tasks as is compatible with its organization. Additional tasks can be added later as needed.
Each task has a task number that is between 1 and 8 alphanumeric characters.
Task Attributes
Each task must have:
a name that does not have to be unique, but should clearly describe the purpose of the task. The name is chosen at the discretion of the department. Up to 25 characters can be used.
a task manager who is responsible for conducting the activity of the task.
