Randi Bennett assists in the study of autism using fMRI
in the Child Neuroscience Lab under Dr. Kevin Pelphrey. She graduated from Dartmouth College in 2010,
where she received a B.A. in Psychology with High Honors. Her undergraduate thesis focused on
amygdala-prefrontal connectivity during the processing of surprised faces for which she received second
place for the Benjamin G. Benner Award for Excellence in Research. She is currently working with
Sarah Shultz to study the developing social brain in infants using fMRI.

Cara Cordeaux is a research assistant in the Child Neuroscience Lab, using fMRI to assist in the study of autism under the direction of Dr. Kevin Pelphrey. Previously, she was an RA in the department of Psychiatry at Yale, where she assisted in fMRI studies of schizophrenia. She graduated summa cum laude from Lafayette College in 2010 with a B.S. in Neuroscience. As an undergraduate, her research explored pitch manipulation and the Mozart effect in an animal model.

Suzanna Mitchell assists in the study of autism using fMRI in the Child Neuroscience Lab under Dr. Kevin Pelphrey. She graduated from the University of Kentucky in 2011, where she received a B.A. in Psychology with an emphasis on Developmental Psychopathology and Interdisciplinary Early Childhood. Suzanna’s interests include the importance of early intervention within the autism spectrum. She plans to pursue the career of a Developmental Interventionist in the future.
