the
Movement
The
national
movement
for
campaign
finance
reform
is
stronger
than
ever.
Thousands
of
Americans
are
working
to
change
the
system
of
private
financing
of
elections
that
corrupts
democracy.
Even
now,
however,
while
the
movement
for
campaign
finance
reform
is
gaining
momentum,
incumbent
politicians
and
even
most
of
their
challengers
continue
to
raise
millions
of
private
dollars
to
fund
their
future
campaigns.
Only
a
mass
movement
can
exercise
enough
pressure
to
fundamentally
change
the
system
of
campaign
financing
and
restore
our
democracy.
