Who We Are

Yale Students for Clean Elections (SCE) is a non-partisan organization of undergraduate and graduate students at Yale University dedicated to educating fellow students and citizens about the issue of money in politics, and engaging college campuses in the fight for clean and fair elections. Founded in the fall of 2002 by a group of concerned students at Yale, SCE has assumed an active role in political activism on campus, in the city of New Haven, and in the Connecticut Legislature. As members of a growing national movement to revitalize democracy through public financing of elections, we believe that campaign finance reform is the reform that can make all other reforms possible.
