Tongjia Zhang
Tongjia, or Alex, is a doctoral student in Classics and Philosophy. Before coming to Yale, he read Classics, Philosophy, and Intellectual History at the University of Pennsylvania, where he wrote his undergraduate thesis on Plato's Symposium and Phaedrus.
Alex is interested in ancient philosophy, especially intersection between ethics and aesthetics, and tragedy. He also has side interests in early modern philosophy and classical Chinese prose.
