Rachel Love

Rachel Love joined the department in 2013 after graduating summa cum laude from Tulane University where she earned her B.A. in Greek and Latin.

Her senior thesis examined the orations of Caesar and Cato in Sallust’s Catiline, focusing specifically on the role of stylistic variation within the monograph. She is primarily interested in the development of ancient historiography and Roman moral and political theory under the Republic. She is also interested in Roman material culture and has participated in the excavations at Coriglia and Gabii.
