Did you know that your new home town has one of the finest park systems of any city its size; an amazing collection of buildings by leading architects; one of America's best 100 public spaces at its center; a booming biotechnology industry; the largest and best collection of museums between Boston and New York; thriving retail districts and an array of restaurants from Malaysian to Italian, --not to mention the first and finest pizza and hamburger?
Get to know New Haven through CityScape, an orientation for first-year students in Yale College and Yale's graduate and professional schools. CityScape provides an in-depth tour of the city and its neighborhoods followed by a special reception at a downtown restaurant.
Participants will learn the best places to jog, hike, bike, explore, enjoy and relax across New Haven. And, it's completely free! Every participant gets a free t-shirt, a raffle ticket for a chance to win a mountain bike or gift certificates to local shops, and a chance to eat at two of the city's finest restaurants. Register here, and discover your new hometown.
