LOCATION AND TRAVEL INFORMATION

Train: New Haven is on Amtrak’s Boston-Washington line and also on the Metro North Commuter line from NYC. For schedules, fares and further information: Amtrak 1-(800-USA-RAIL (1-800-872-7245), TDD/TTY: 1-800-523-6590), or, Metro North (1-800-METRO-INFO/1-800-638-7646), TTY: 1-800-724-3322. From NYC the train takes about 1:30 to 1:50 hours.

Bus: Both Peter Pan and Greyhound stop at New Haven.

Air:
Tweed Airport (HVN)
- New Haven, CT (approximately 10 minutes by car)
Take a taxi directly to the hotel (Taxi: 203-777-7777/8, or 203-777-5555). Tweed Airport is only to be recommended if you can get a good connection via Philadelphia.

Bradley International Airport (BDL) - Hartford, CT (approximately 1 hour by car)
Take Connecticut Limo, 1-800-733-8267) to Long Wharf terminal in New Haven and from there a taxi to the hotel.

Kennedy International Airport (JFK) – Jamaica, NY
Take Connecticut Limo, 1-800-733-8267) to Long Wharf terminal in New Haven and from there a taxi to the hotel. The other option is Prime Time Shuttle, which is a door to door service.

LaGuardia (LGA) - Queens, NY
Option 1: The best way to get to New Haven from LaGuardia is to take a taxi to the Metro North station on 125th street and then the Metro North to New Haven.
Option 2: Take Connecticut Limo, 1-800-733-8267) or Prime Time Shuttle, which is a door to door service.

Newark (EWR) – Newark, NJ
Take Connecticut Limo, 1-800-733- 8267) to Long Wharf terminal in New Haven and from there a taxi to the hotel; or take AMTRAK train from the airport directly to New Haven Union Station and from there a taxi to the hotel.

Complimentary phones to call CT Limo are located at the ground transportation area of the airports, near baggage claim. The Limo usually comes every half hour. Those flying into the New York area airports should anticipate at least two hours travel time to New Haven.

Driving Directions from NYC (Option 1): Take Route 95 North to Exit #47 (Route 34 West, Downtown New Haven). Continue on Route 34 and take Exit #3. At the third light, turn right onto Howe St. At the sixth light, turn left onto Whalley Ave. The hotel will be immediately on your left.

Driving Directions from NYC (Option 2 No commercial traffic): Take Route I-87 North to the Cross County Parkway East. From there, take the Hutchinson River Parkway North to the Merritt Parkway North (Route 15). Take Exit 57. Drive east on Route 34 (Derby Avenue) for approximately five miles past the Yale Athletic Fields. Turn left onto Route 10 North, Ella T. Grasso Boulevard. Proceed to the fifth traffic light and turn right onto Whalley Avenue. Drive about one mile on Whalley. The hotel will be on your right.
