Yale Chemical Biology Symposium iimage.
The Yale Chemical Biology Symposium is a day-long event that applauds and highlights new advances at the interface of chemistry and biology. Held annually since 1998, the symposium has been unbelievably successful - in recent years attendance has sky-rocketed to include more than 250 researchers from Yale and nearby (and not-so-nearby) universities and companies.

The Symposium is organized by faculty within the Departments of Chemistry, Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology (MCDB), and Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry (MB&B), at Yale University.

The panel of speakers for the 2009 Symposium includes Hidde Ploegh from the Whitehead Institute, Steven Bruner from Boston College, Donald Hilvert from ETH, Claudia Schmidt-Dannert from the University of Minnesota, and David Spiegel and Derek Toomre from Yale University.
