For me Islam is a form of cultural identity with spirituality at its center. This broad understanding of Islam is conducive to connections with the diverse student body at Yale. I love learning together. I especially enjoy moments of connections when students discover an aspect of Islam to which they can really relate. I enjoy Pakistani food and music.
