The mission of the YIBS Center for Field Ecology (CFE) is to support field based research and teaching in the environmental sciences.

CFE is comprised of faculty from departments and schools across Yale University.

Its goal is to help make Yale a world leader in ecology by supporting faculty development, student research, and infrastructure projects to enhance field based research and teaching.
