Converting Arc Info Coverages to ERMapper Vector Files
To convert Arc Info Coverages to ERMapper Vector Files
Load the coverage you wish to convert into an ArcInfo Dynamic Link
and display it to make sure it is the correct one.
Open the annotation editor for this layer.
Use the "save as" feature of the annotation editor to save
this coverage AS an annotation/vector file (not arc info coverage).
Give it a new name.
Edit the header file for the new ermapper vector dataset and change
the datum/projection. By default ERM uses "AGD66" as the datum and
"TMAMG54" as the projection. Change these to whatever is appropritate
for the coverage. (e.g. NAD27 and NUTM18, for UTM coverages in CT)
