Melissa Slotnick

A valuable natural and cultural resource to South Central Connecticut, the Mill River Watershed has been the focus of recent attention as development continues to impact the watershed. Plans to develop contaminated areas, to continue developmet in rural portions of the watershed, and to withdraw water from the Lake Whitney reservoir have all increased publich awareness and concern for the watershed. In support of the growing concern, and in order to protect the health of the watershed, it is necessary to have complete and accurate scientific data available. Such data will ensure proper management to maintain the health of this valuable resource.
