The Sound School
      The Sound School offers an educational opportunity unique in New Haven and in the United States. Its multi-building facility is located on the waterfront on Long Island Sound, an ideal setting for the marine orientation of this regional vocational aquaculture program.

Clean Sound, Inc.
      An all volunteer corporation, established to remove fixed and floatable pollutants from Long Island Sound and all contributing watershed areas, to work to restore degraded habitats, and to inform others about the pollution problems facing the Long Island Sound.

Save the Sound
      A bi-state, non-profit membership organization dedicated to the restoration, protection, and appreciation of Long Island Sound and its watershed through education, research, and advocacy. Save the Sound recently merged with The Connecticut Fund for the Environment.
Soundkeeper
      Environmental organization dedicated to the protection and enhancement of the biological, physical, and chemical integrity of Long Island Sound and its watershed.
Soundwaters
      Local environmental organization dedicated to preserving  Long Island Sound through education.
