Summer Concert Series 2009Every summer, the Guild organizes a Summer Concert Series where we invite carillonneurs from around the world and the United States to come to Yale to perform. To learn more about our guest performers, see the carillonneurs' profiles. Our 2009 Summer Concert Series has now come to an end. Thank you for your support and interest!
All concerts begin at 7.00 pm and last approximately one hour. They are free and open to the public. Seating is not provided, but audience members are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs to the listening area. Listening space is available in the Jonathan Edwards College Courtyard beginning at 6.30 pm and is accessible from the Library Walk, which is between High St. and York St., Elm St. and Chapel St. In the event of rain or otherwise poor weather, indoor listening space will be available in rooms 206 and 208 of Linsley-Chittenden Hall, accessible from High St. between Elm and Chapel Streets. There are people living in Jonathan Edwards who might also be using the courtyard. We ask that concertgoers be sensitive to these residents.
