Resources

Networking

Before contacting any alumnus, student, or professional using one of the following networking tools please seek guidance from a UCS counselor, or learn more about informational interviewing and professional correspondence.

  • Contact Information for Yale alumni currently enrolled in medical school is available upon request in the HPAP office.

  • AYA:Yale Career Network
The Yale Career Network (YaleCN) is a database of alumni who are interested in networking with you. This network will allow you to connect with alumni to discuss career objectives and explore career interests. The database will help you contact Yale alumni in a particular geographic area and career field. Alumni are great sources of advice and guidance and may also help you locate an internship opportunity.

  • Yale Intern Evaluation Database Login Required
Read reports created by Yale students who have completed internships in the past. The information can provide a starting point for networking as you can contact the students themselves to learn more about their experience. You might also contact the student's previous supervisor to learn if the opportunity still exists. Employer contact data reflects information at time of submission and may have changed. Please call the organization to verify contact information before submitting any application materials. Login to read these reports on-line. Click here to request a username and password.

  • Career Search Login Required
Use this resource to find extensive information (contact information, organization size, locations, web sites, etc.) on organizations in every industry and career field across the country. With this information you can then contact these organizations to inquire about possible opportunities that may exist or create your own. Login to read these reports on-line. Click here to request a referral key.
