Law School Admissions Panels - Fall Events
Meet admissions representatives from various law schools for a discussion of everything you've ever wanted to know, and more, about law school admissions. Among other things, they will cover the admission process, selection, the role of the infamous "numbers", how to get the most out of your recommenders, how to craft an effective personal statement, and will leave lots of time for questions.

Law School Application Workshops - Fall Events
Considering law school, but not sure where to begin? We will take you through the basics of the application process and give you the tools you need to tackle the next steps. Law school can be an expensive endeavor, but don't let that deter you from applying. We will share with you the different options you have for financing your law school experience. Applying to law school is a process and filling out your application can be daunting at first glance (and maybe at second and third glances as well!). We will break down the process into smaller steps and debunk some of the myths that you might have heard. Find out what law schools look for and how to write a statement that best exemplifies your strengths, experiences and ambitions.

Law School Interviews - Fall Events
Meet one-on-one or in a group setting with the Dean’s of Admissions from various schools. These interviews are open to those students who will be applying for admission for the upcoming academic year. All participants will be required to sign up for these events in advance.

Careers in Law Series - Spring Events
Your law career does not have to begin and end in a court room. There are a number of ways in which a law degree can be utilized. “Legal Eagles” from all walks of life will come share their experiences, expectations, and the paths they took to get them to where they are today. Allow them to answer the questions the law school administrators can not answer. If law school is in your near future, you don't want to miss this spectacular series of discussions.

Summer Series: Law - Summer Events
UCS sponsors a series of panel discussions in DC and NYC during the months of June and July. Panelists from all walks of life will come share their experiences and discuss the current trends within their field. Students and alumni living and working in DC and NYC are encouraged to attend. Not only will you gain insight and an understanding of that career field, you will have a great opportunity to network with other Yalies and young professionals.
