Environmental Engineers design, build, and maintain systems to control waste
streams (wastewater, solid waste, hazardous waste, contaminated
emissions) that are produced by cities or private industry.
Environmental engineers are typically employed by the Environmental
Protection Agency, by private industry, or by engineering

(e.g. fisheries, water treatment, sea jobs or GIS), government
