Scheduling Dates
The Employment Program will begin accepting reservations for this recruiting season on April 30, 2009. Employers who call late in the season to schedule a visit may encounter a lack of availability in dates and rooms.
There are two recruiting seasons:

Note: No interviews or information meetings shall take place during reading or exam periods. (see Recruiting Calendar)
To request an on-campus interview date, please call the Employment Office at
203.432.0804. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT US VIA EMAIL. We will NOT accept electronic requests nor will we honor messages left with other departments at UCS.
Once you have scheduled a date you will be given a username and password. To begin using eRecruiting you must create an Experience account and link our school to your account.
Types of Schedules
Two types of interview schedules are available at UCS:
Preselect Interviews (closed): Employers choose to review in advance the resumes of interested students. This option allows you to build a schedule of specifically selected primary candidates and alternates.
Open Sign-up Interviews: Open schedules are available on a first come, first served basis to students and alumni/ae who meet the criteria specified by the recruiting organization.
Interviews start at 9:00 a.m. in 30, 45 or 60 minute increments.

30 minute interviews:
You may interview 12 students on this schedule. The first interview begins at 9:00 a.m. and the last one concludes at 4:45 p.m. Fifteen minute breaks are scheduled at 10:30 a.m., and 3:00 p.m. Lunch is scheduled from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m.

45 minute interviews:
You may interview 9 students on this schedule. The first interview begins at 9:00 a.m., and the last concludes at 5:15 p.m. Fifteen minute breaks are scheduled at 10:30 a.m. and 2:25 p.m. Lunch is scheduled from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m.

60 minute interviews:
You may interview 7 students on this schedule. The first interview begins at 9:00 a.m., and the last concludes at 4:30 p.m. Fifteen-minute breaks are scheduled at 11:00 a.m. and 3:15 p.m. Lunch is scheduled from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m.

The Career Services Office opens at 8:30 a.m. Interviewers should plan on arriving at that time to check in with the staff. All recruiters must sign in at the security desk in the lobby before proceeding to the thrid floor.
