1. Post a Job: Post your company's job openings with us so Yale students can learn about the opportunity.

2. Post an Internship: Internships provide excellent opportunities to explore new career fields and gain important experience.

3. Recruiting on Campus: Our On-Campus Interview Program (OCIP) enables employers to contact students and receive applications electronically and to conduct interviews in our office in New Haven.

4. Alumni Career Mentor: Serve as a networking contact so students may be in touch with you (via email, telephone, or in person) to gain advice and information about the work you do. See the Yale Career Network for more information.

5. Shadowing Experience: Externships enable students to shadow alumni in the workplace for a brief but in-depth work-place experience of one or two weeks during spring break.

6. Panel / Workshop Suggestion: UCS career counselors offer afternoon and evening programs to students on a variety of career issues and career fields. Suggestions are welcome

7. Panelist: Come back to Yale and serve on a panel UCS sponsors for students. Speak about your experiences and share your knowledge with students.

8. Mock Interviews: Alumni who have expertise in employment interviewing and are able to spend time on campus may be able to assist our students by offering mock interview sessions and providing critical feedback.

9. Real World Tour: Alumni may host groups of interested students at their place of business. Participants learn about job opportunities within an organization, meet with other Yale graduates (when available) and HR staff, tour facilities, and get the "inside scoop" on what it would be like to work in this field.

10. Career Fair: UCS offers a variety of career fairs each year, open to employers with specific job openings as well as those who can share information with students about specific career fields.

11-12. Metro Link New York and DC: In collaboration with a small consortium of other universities (Duke, Notre Dame, William and Mary, and Richmond), UCS offers a hiring fair in New York and Washington DC each spring. These events allow employers to hold prescheduled interviews for full-time, entry-level positions with students from all five institutions in a convenient, central location.
