Outside Resources
In addition to resources at Yale, opportunities abound for those seeking career advice, self-assessment testing, job-seeking tips, etc. There are books, career coaches, seminars, headhunters, recruiting firms, etc. None of these resources substitute for the actual time and work one needs to invest in career exploration, but they may provide answers to some questions, a framework for one's exploration, or creative solutions to a derailed job search.
Although neither Yale nor UCS endorse any particular entities offering career advice, there are many websites and organizations whose business is helping people with their career plans.
