Services for Medical School Applicants
-
Pre-Med Counseling
Alumni who graduated within the past four years may request the Health Professions Advisory Board prepare a letter of evaluation of their undergraduate education, extracurricular involvements, and volunteer and community service. Please refer to Applying to Medical School Guide. Alumni who graduated more than four years ago will find that medical schools are primarily interested in their postbaccalaureate years, which the Health Professions Advisory Board is unable to evaluate. Therefore, we do not provide a letter of evaluation. However, all alumni are welcome to seek advice on applying for admission to medical school.
- Alumni Surveys for Medical School
Each year we ask our alumni who are currently in their first year of medical school to complete a survey detailing their experiences thus far.
Reports are available in our library, or you may read the Alumni Surveys on-line. For access to secure pages contact undergraduate.careerservices@yale.edu to request a username and password.
