GRASSROOT SOCCER TOURNAMENT Saturday, May 2, 2009 - 12 PM - Old Campus Love to play soccer? Never played soccer but still want to have fun? On Saturday May 2, you will have the chance to do both. The Grassroot KickAIDS Soccer Tournament that will raise money for the fight against AIDS you can play on a team of 3 players and win great prize. Sign up with people from your student group or just sign up with your friends. All you need to do is email Roland (roland.reimers@yale.edu) and you can help save lives! It is $12 to register each team. 100% of money raised will go to Grassroot Soccer, an NGO that uses soccer to teach a special HIV prevention curriculum to African youth. They are the recent winner of the prestigious Ashoka/Nike Sport for a Better World Collaborative Competition and a partner with the Clinton Foundation. The tournament will take place on Old Campus from 12 to 4 pm and the top teams will win gift certificates and everlasting glory. What could be a better way to spend a Saturday afternoon?
