Receiving Large Packages
You order "whatever" from a company. But the item is large, very large. No way will it fit in a post office box that could measure only 6" X 8" X 16". What should you do? If the package is coming by US Mail, the answer is simple!
No matter how large the package, you should use your post office box address! Large items are brought in to our mailroom by the U.S. Postal Service along with the rest of the mail from your post office box. Campus Mail will deliver your large package right along with your post office box mail.
Special Note to Students:When you receive large boxes, a slip will be placed in your box. Simply take the slip to the Yale Station customer service window and you will receive your package.
Remember, whatever you order will "fit" in your post office box!
