Hello Hounies! We’re your Calhoun STEP coordinators for this year: Mahima Sukhdev (CC 2010) and Mary Schnoor (CC 2010). Any questions or suggestions related to recycling, sustainability, and other such environmental things, can be directed to us (in person, or via phone and email). We'd be more than happy to help you.

5 ways to go green
Turn off the lights whenever you leave the room and replace standard incandescent lightbulbs with CFLs (Compact Flourescent Lightbulbs)
Unplug your appliances (computer, dvd player, printer, phone charger) when not in use, since they draw power even when “off”
Drink tap water from a reusable water bottle instead of buying bottled water
Print double-sided by printing odd pages first, then the even
Recycle all paper, cans, and numbered plastic (this includes those red plastic cups!)
