Impact on Training
The laboratory has trained and supported research for a total of 152 scientists. Training periods range from a few weeks to several months. Research stages are usually longer in length ranging from a semester to 2-3 years, for example completing the molecular component of a PHD project. The graph below shows the distribution of the MSCG Lab users.

Impact on Research
In the 10 years since its origin the MSCG Lab has contributed to raising more than $21 millions in funds for research grants and fellowships. The 140 grants and/or awards were given to Yale faculty, postdoctoral associates and fellows, and undergraduate and graduate students. The graphs below show the types of funding (federal, private foundations and scientific societies, and Yale internal awards), and their allocation to either faculty or non-faculty trainees (post-doc’s, graduate students, and undergraduates).



Scientific Output
