Research Ethics: IRB Case Studies

Starting early January, 2008, this site will offer a new project for those interested in the institutional oversight and ethics of research
You are invited to visit for an interactive experience on this “IRB Case-of-the Month” site.
Each month will feature an actual biomedical or sociobehavioral research proposal, a narrative of the controversy at meetings of the reviewing IRB and commentary by 2 guest reviewers.
Site participants will be invited to submit comments on the cases as well as new cases to be considered for future postings on the site.
