With over 10 years experience and performances for private and public audiences, Ballet Folklórico Mexicano de Yale is a student dance group that specializes in bringing the moves and music of Mexico to New Haven and beyond. Performing dances inspired not only by the traditions of the Mexican states of Jalisco, Veracruz, Chiapas, Chihuahua, and Nayarit, but also by pre-columbian dance rituals, Yale's Folkloric troupe is a company that prides itself on faithfully and enjoyably representing one of the most unforgettable parts of Mexican culture.
