Initiative Steering Committee

The Initiative Steering Committee provides operational guidance to the union-management partnership and the Best Practices Initiative, under the strategic direction of the Policy Board. Its primary responsibility is to lead the implementation of best practices across campus, sharing lessons learned and initiating projects that address the need for change across the University. It has several major functions:

  • Operational steering of union-management projects (chartering, supporting, monitoring progress, obtaining results, etc.).
  • Resolving conflicts that emerge.
  • Providing strategic input to the Policy Board.
  • Propagating best practices across campus.
