BERT & Benefactor Enhancements

  • GG&A Information in BERT:  We have added Annual Giving Rating and Planned Giving Ratings from GG&A research to BERT. More fields of information from GG&A will be rolled out as they are made available. Stay Tuned!! (for Fund Raising staff only)
    • GGA Planned Giving Rating – Now in Profile, Person Savedlist (UTL_0004P), Person Download (Dev_0014). The Planned Giving team will begin using for planning purposes immediately.
    • GGA Annual Giving Rating – Now on Profile, Person Savedlist (UTL_0004P), Person Download (Dev_0014) and the Summary Download (DEV_0065)


  • Email Address Lookup Capability in Benefactor: We have created a new screen in Benefactor that lets you lookup someone by entering their email address
  • Quick Access to XEML screen
  • Type in the email address to lookup the person
  • Click SAVE
  • Person ID and Name are returned

  • Summary Download (DEV_0065) Additional Prompts:  Added three prompts
    • Monthly Messaging – Indicates which Alumni Fund monthly messaging group (control or target) an individual belongs too (where applicable)
    • Recurring Pledge Flag – Indicates Y if they have a recurring pledge
    • NHA History

  • Detail Download (DEV_0020) Additional Prompt 
    • Recurring Pledge Flag Indicates Y if they have a recurring pledge
  • Secondary School Information: We have added Secondary School is a selection prompt in the Person Download (DEV_0014). Check out prompt #172 Include Secondary School.

Did you know, you can select different content folders to display on your BERT Personal Page/Portal Page as well as the order in which they appear. (personalize content pdf guide)

Reminder to Reboot

ALL Office of Development & YSM Development Staff: Please remember to REBOOT after changing the password for your NetID. If you do not reboot after changing your password, you may experience computer problems such as not being able to use email and being locked out of some applications.  If you get locked out, please contact the ADTech Help Desk at adtech.helpdesk@yale.edu or 2-1105.

Spam Alert!

The AD Tech Help Desk has recently been notified of some employees receiving “spam” emails requesting usernames and passwords. This is a reminder that the AD Tech Help Desk and YaleITS will NEVER request passwords or other personal information via email. Messages requesting such information are fraudulent and should be deleted.
