About this site redesign

The Communications & Planning group has redesigned the Administrator's Web Directory (the “Yellow Pages”) as part of a general overhaul of Yale business communications sites to accomplish several goals:

1. To improve, update, and more explicitly link the major sites that support business processes, tools, and communications at Yale.
2. To bring the major Yale business sites into a consistent web interface and design framework. Most of Yale's core sites have now adopted a consistent general template, as reflected in the “Blue Site,” and the designs of core Finance, Administration, ITS, portal, and Human Resources sites.
3. To improve and update the underlying web technologies that support efficient code standards, web metrics, navigation, and search on the web.
