Jump Page meets Yellow Pages – The Next Generation
Last summer a number of people had wondered to us out loud, “ Why do we have a Business Managers’ Jump Page and a Business Office Yellow Pages.” The answer is that a web directory is such a good idea that two different units had invented a set these link listings. Yale administrators in search of various web destinations log 8,000 visits to these pages every week.
The next generation is almost here. ASD Communications and ITS Enterprise Web Development are about to announce the new combined Yale Administrators Web Directory that will soon replace both of the previous pages.
With the familiar look and feel of other Yale administration pages, the directory features a topic directory and an alpha directory with a link at the top allowing users to toggle between the two. We hope you will visit the new directory, try it out and send us your thoughts – good, bad or indifferent. We will take the month to tweak the pages and incorporate your best ideas and probably make it live November 1 so you can link to which ever version you prefer to get connected to these important Yale websites.
