SHAKESPEARE IN ART

Throughout the translation process we have looked into other visual representations of the play to see how individual artistic responses throughout the centuries might influence the ASL translation. At various times during the process members of the translation team would replicate physical postures, positions, and movement indicated by the paintings or renderings. Here are a few such images which we used to influence the translation/interpretation. There will be others added to this site within the coming weeks.
