On many Friday afternoons, the Council on Archaeological Studies hosts "Brown Bag Lectures," which are opportunities for students and professors to discuss their research with peers over lunch. Yale's archaeological community learns from within itself, as well as from distinguished scholars and students drawn from institutions around the area. Also a social aspect within the department, these lectures are an invaluable part of the Yale Archaeology experience. Though the scedule for the Autumn Brown Bag Lecture Series has not yet been finalized, you can see past events on the pages below.
