The Yale Biological Anthropology Laboratories (YBAL)

STAFF

The Yale Biological Anthropology Laboratories (YBAL) has a Research Associate responsible for the curation, maintenance, and support of the collections, equipment, and facilities.

Gary P. Aronsen (Ph.D. Yale University ‘04) conducts research on primate anatomy, behavior, ecology, and conservation. Research interests include the interaction of primate positional behavior and habitat structure, habitat fragmentation and conservation, and tropical ecology. He has conducted fieldwork in Uganda and Panama, and captive studies in the USA. He is the current YBAL Supervisor, and a Visiting Professor at the Biology Department of Manhattanville College, Purchase, New York.
